We have had three different concrete contractors do work at our home over the past six years.  Mendenhall did the pest work with the best color match and NO cracks three years later.  The area they did was where our gate crosses the driveway - it gets heavy traffic including a weekly visit by the trash company and it is doing GREAT!  Don is a gentleman and knows his trade! read less

Mike gave us a preliminary quote, then when we were ready to fine tune what we wanted in the patio - he showed up and gave us suggestions and options.  They worked within our budget and made suggestions to have the patio drain rain water away from the house. Phenomenal quality work as they are as professional as can be.  Show up on time, have correct tools, put safety cones out and make sure their trucks weren't blocking any neighbors. They even cleaned up everything when they were done.  Matt led the daily work being done and he is tireless as he did the digging, framing, getting the rod iron in.  On the day the concrete was poured we had 7 guys here.  We cannot say enough except if we could give 10 stars we would!     All done in just 5 days!  Thanks guys for all the hard work with superb results! read less

I have worked with many contractors at work and at my home and Don is very professional.  He keeps you informed, checks on the job and makes sure the quality of the work is to your satisfaction.  One of the best things is every worker made sure the job site was clean and neat before they left each day.

Mendenhall Concrete helped us fix it.  The owner, Don, was very helpful, from the time of the original appointment, to providing the estimate, to completing the repairs.  His pricing was fair, and the work exceeded my expectations.  I was very satisfied with the whole experience.

If you are looking for a small business owner that cares about taking care of his customers and takes pride in his work, give Don a call.  We are very glad we did! read less

After interviewing and receiving several proposals I decided on Mendenhall.  It was the right choice. Don described exactly what was going to take place in the process. He and his son Jeremy were on site throughout the job. Don really cares about the work being done  in a professional manner. When it came to pour Don and his complete team worked together in an efficient and timely manner. The number and placement of expansion joints were amazing. Their clean up was very thorough. I want to thank you and the crew for the job you did on my patio!

You and crew arrived when promised. Work was commenced and completed when promised. And even though I had trouble explaining myself, the results were just what I wanted.

And when the work was completed, the guys cleared up behind themselves. They even hauled a few things away for me that weren’t part of the job.

I really appreciate the job Mendenhall did. If anyone wants to see references, have them call me. read less

He spent a good half-hour with me looking at our walkway and talking about options/etc, and provided me an estimate on the spot (followed up by a formal estimate via email).  I was very impressed with Don and his knowledge, and am certain had we decided to move forward at this juncture, Don would the man for the job. read less

I had a section of driveway about 5 feet by 16 feet that was sinking and needed to be broke out and re poured. Don came at the time he promised for the estimate and told me what needed to be done to keep it from happening again and quoted me a very reasonable price. I had told him that I was very concerned about my elderly father tripping on the recessed section and wanted to get it fixed as quickly as possible. He went out of his way to make that happen. The work was outstanding as were the individuals involved. Don and his son Jeremy were a pleasure to work with and they did an outstanding job. I would certainly use them again. I strongly recommend Mendenhall Concrete. They did a great job and they are great people. It was a pleasure doing business with them. read less

I called other contractors to no avail but Don came and gave me an estimate right away.  With his son and crew, they took care of demolition, root removal, sprinkler repair, and poured a finely finished driveway, walkway and even replaced our porch all with great care to protect plants and structures. They listened to our needs and kept us informed every step of the way. It's refreshing to deal with such honest professional people. read less

I was concerned that the job might be too small for some of the cement contractors but when I contacted Don Mendenhall who owns Mendenhall Concrete he said he would be out that same afternoon to take a look at what had to be done. The reason I made the call to Mendenhall Concrete was because of  their 5 star rating on Yelp. Once Don showed up, to look at the job, I immediately understood why his company had earned their 5 star rating. He explained what he thought needed to be done, and exactly how it would be done and said he would email me a bid the next day. he was true to his word and the bid seemed very reasonable, so we asked him to go ahead with the work.  Don kept in contact with us regarding their start date on a regular basis which we appreciated. They managed to complete the entire job in one day as Don had initially promised. We were very pleased with Don's  employees, and the excellent work that they did. It could not have been a more pleasant experience. We would happily direct anyone looking for a cement contractor to Mendenhall Concrete. We are confident that they will also be pleased with their experience. read less

Don and his son Jeremy just finished filling in an old jacuzzi area with concrete and got it ready for a new jacuzzi. They matched the existing concrete perfectly and it looks perfect. They were quick and very clean even through a messy project. On a personal note, they were so nice, honest and a joy to work with. Don was very thorough in evaluating the work and supplying a bid.   When we hired him to do the work, he kept us informed every step of the way and even described ways the work could be modified to save money without compromising the integrity of the result.

The work was completed on time and on budget, just as he had promised.

The result is awesome - the team produced results of the highest quality and did not cut any corners.   I'm very pleased with the finished product.  Mendenhall Concrete will be my first phone call next time I need concrete work completed. read less
